We enjoy New Year's brunch at a beach club, & party for the last time in the capital of "Enjoyment".
Freedom Justice & Afronation
Today we walk through the glory of Ghana's independence. We visit Independence Square "Black Star", pay homage at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, visit Accra's biggest craft market and Arts Center, and learn about the slave trade at Osu Castle - a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a former seventeenth-century trading post. Later we party at Afronation!

Today we explore Accra's largest market, the best place to absorb the atmosphere of a West African market. It is filled to the brim with goods, people, scents and sounds, hustle and bustle. Later we party at Afronation!

The Return of the African Diaspora
Before we usher in the New Year, we embark on a scenic route to Cape Coast. We visit the Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle, a former transit point during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, where slaves were lowered into boats and never returned, The castles' ancient walls bear witness to the harrowing experiences in the history of humanity. We then visit Kakum National Park and walk on the breathtakingly beautiful Canopy Walkway- one of the highest in Africa.

Later we usher in the New Year at the hottest party in Accra.
